Full terms and conditions of SATR service
PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS SERVICE.
BY USING THE SERVICE OR AGREEING TO THESE TERMS, YOU ACCEPT AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS AGREEMENT.
This agreement is between Provestor Accounts Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company registration number: 10510713), and the individual agreeing to these terms (“User”).
1. Service Description
The service is provided free of charge to a select number of users.
In exchange for the preparation and submission of a single self-assessment tax return, the User agrees to participate in a one-hour research interview and provide feedback on the service.
The service includes the preparation and submission of a tax return based solely on the information the User provides through our online software.
Important: No advice, issue resolution, or verification of the information provided by the User is included in this service.
2. Scope of Return
This service is limited to tax matters related to employment and property income.
Employment income is defined as income from salary, dividends or pensions.
Property income is defined as income from tenants in the form of rent. It does not include income as the result of the sale of a property or any other transaction.
If there are any additional tax matters outside of this scope, we will not be able continue with your tax return.
3. User Responsibilities
Accuracy of Information: The User is solely responsible for providing accurate, complete, and timely information necessary for the preparation of their tax return.
Participation in Feedback Interview: The User must participate in a one-hour research interview within the agreed timeframe. Failure to do so will result in non submission of the tax return.
Compliance with Deadlines: The User must ensure all required information is submitted by Wednesday 15th January or as communicated by Provestor Accounts Ltd. We cannot guarantee completion by 31st January where information is provided after this date.
Identity Verification: As part of our Anti-Money Laundering responsibilities, we are required to verify the identity of all clients. We are unable to begin work on the User's tax return until the identity verification process has been successfully completed.
4. Data Ownership and Use
The User retains ownership of all data provided during the use of the service.
By using the service, the User grants Provestor Accounts Ltd the right to use anonymised data and feedback for research, development, and improvement of the service.
Personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
5. Limitations of Service
This service is limited to the preparation and submission of one self-assessment tax return to HMRC.
Provestor Accounts Ltd is not liable for errors or penalties resulting from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the User.
The service does not include advice, tax planning, or resolution of disputes with HMRC.
6. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep all non-public information disclosed during the agreement confidential.
This includes all data shared by the User and any proprietary information about the service shared by Provestor Accounts Ltd.
7. Term and Termination
The term of this agreement is until 31st January 2025 or the date of submission the tax return of the User, whichever is sooner.
Provestor Accounts Ltd reserves the right to terminate this agreement if:
The User fails to provide the required information or participate in the research interview.
There is a breach of these terms and conditions by the User.
Upon termination, Provestor Accounts Ltd may, at its sole discretion, delete any data provided by the User.
Following the termination of this service, Provestor Accounts has no obligation to maintain the Customer Data and may destroy it.
8. Limitation of Liability
Provestor Accounts Ltd is not liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this service.
The service is provided “as is,” and Provestor Accounts Ltd makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of submissions made on the User’s behalf.
Provestor Accounts total liability arising out of or related to this agreement does not exceed the amount that would have been ordinarily paid by User for this service, £170.
9. Indemnity
If a third party makes a claim against Provestor Accounts Ltd or requires Provestor Accounts Ltd to respond to legal proceedings arising from the Customer's actions, omissions, data, or information within the Software, the Customer agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold Provestor Accounts Ltd harmless from any resulting damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable legal fees and associated costs.
10. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Updates to Terms
Provestor Accounts Ltd reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to Users via email.
