Clive Marklew

Hello: my name's Clive. I started my working life as a Lecturer in English Literature, which gave me enough spare time to do refurbs; I'm now living in my 14th residential refurb (since my first in 1979). In 1990, I left to set up my own Apple IT company.

Then a couple of years ago, seriously disenchanted with my pension, I decided to go into property investment. I've taken courses with Dolf de Roos, Inside Track, Challenor, Rutland, & Martin Welch, amongst others. I've also worked for Inside Track and for Challenor.

My portfolio's now 22 properties - UK, US & New Zealand (very safe, no emerging markets!) I'm a property investor full-time, speak at real estate seminars, and have written a number of e-books about property, including Home Pages, a collection of over 2,000 bookmarks linked to property matters.

My take is that although there are many, many ways to make money from property, all of them equally valid, and no one system better than any other, BMV is the only way to buy, however. (Will anyone beat Richard Branson's purchase of Necker Island at 94% BMV?) I don't believe any one person has all the answers (although Donald Trump has most!) and that given the right network and a continuing education, anyone can earn financial independence from property.

I have a background in Human Resource Management and three years ago became self employed as an HR and Business Consultant after spending my last years in corporate life at Volvo Car UK Limited as a Dealer Area Manager.

In my last two years with Volvo, I fulfilled a long term ambition to invest in property which I saw was the answer to the poor performance of my pension plans. Accordingly, after taking some education with InsideTrack, I began to build a portfolio of properties both in the UK and abroad.

Later on, I joined Inside Track to work with them at their workshops and seminars and, in the process met Clive and Jessica. The rest is history and I was delighted to join them at Provestor in the summer of 2007.

For me it is the final part of the property investment circle. Not only have I found the key to sourcing some truly amazing property deals but I can help our ever increasing number of fellow investors take advantage and grow their portfolios with us. The aim of the company is to offer deals that we ourselves would be happy to invest in and, when we can, we do exactly that.

I look forward to the opportunity of meeting many of our clients in the near future.

Jessica Marklew

I have 10 years experience of business banking, accounting, and project management, which are significant assets for assessing the financial viability of potential property deals.

I handle all administration aspects of the company, as well as tenancy management of her joint property portfolio with my partner, Clive.

Simon Cooper

I'm the new boy, as far as property investment is concerned. I started just over a year ago and now my partner and I have a portfolio of four properties.

As an old friend of the Marklews I was very interested when they told me about their portfolio. I've always had jobs in the Arts; theatre, design and illustration, games and latterly film. This has always left me very satisfied from an artistic perspective, but I've never had a pension worth mentioning. I didn't take much convincing to realise that property was a way for me to provide for my future. Personal experience has taught me the potential value of bricks and mortar.

With my artistic background and ability to tackle the technical bits I'm the IT guy, so if anything goes wrong with the web site you can blame me!
